John Forrester
Candidate for Westfield Ward
John Forrester is 60, married with one daughter and has lived in Westfield Ward for 34 years.
He has recently retired from working in the Railway and construction industries and now has more time to devote to community activities. He has stood for the Green Party in previous local elections and is passionate about keeping York special. John is active as a Neighbourhood Watch Co-ordinator and enjoys cycling and photography in his spare time. He also takes a keen interest in transport issues and is a member of York Cycling Campaign and Greenpeace.
