York's first two Green Councillors have made a great difference to the old style politics of the City of York Council. We need more Greens elected and we need more Green votes. But Green politics is not just about fighting elections. Successful campaigns to make all of our lives better continue throughout the year. The more members we have the more campaigns we can run and the more elections we can fight. But more than that. The more members we have the more authority Green politics has with both the Government and the media.
Members meetings take place upstairs in the Golden Fleece pub on Pavement at 7:30pm on the first wednesday of every month - 7th March 2007, 4 April, 9 May, 6 June, 11 July, and so on.
