What are they asking?

The Council issues licences for the following activities relating to the welfare of animals:

  *  Animal boarding establishment licences

  *  Dangerous wild animal licences

  *  Dog breeding establishment licences

  *  Horse riding establishment licences

  *  Pet shop licences

  *  Zoo licences

  *  Performing Animals (registration)

 The Council has not previously had a Policy document of this nature which consolidates all of the legal requirements for these licensing regimes.

The Council is now seeking the views of all interested parties on this policy.

How to get more involved with us!

If you want a Green future for York and the wider world we'd like your support. We already have 4 local councillors who make their voices heard on these issues. With your help, we can increase this number at future elections. We need you to help us campaign, deliver the leaflets, raise the money, and build a dynamic, effective local party and perhaps even stand to be a councillor or paper candidate!

If you want to help us, we'd like to hear from you.
