Rosie is in her final year of an MSc in Research for Public Policy and Practice and worked predominantly as an education support practitioner in Manchester & Jersey. Since coming to York in 2015 Rosie has found employment with Barnardo’s and in a local research company. She was secretary of her home party, Reform Jersey and political assistant to one of their elected members which is where her interest in local party politics and campaigning for a more equal society really began. Now for the Greens, her role involves contributing to policy matters (children’s services, academies, housing), she works in the local party office as well, eagerly awaiting being able to coordinate and support many more volunteers. Her 6 yr old son and 8 yr old step-son are already recruited as 60-Second Survey mascots so watch out for them out & about on their green scooters in a street near you soon!
