The personal details you provide will be held internally by our treasurers and will be shared with the Electoral Commission in the case of donations totalling over £500.

We will use name, address, and electoral roll information provided to us by the City of York Council. This will be held in secure databases with access limited to those that need it.

Canvass sheets printed out will be handed out for use and collected in at the end of canvassing. Canvassing information will be entered into the database and the canvass sheets held securely for up to a year and then destroyed.

Writing to people about issues that concern them

Reminding people to vote

Offering posters to people who have expressed interest

Canvassing data will never be passed to anyone outside York Green Party except as required by law.


Correspondence (letters and emails) will be kept until the correspondence is completed and for up to 7 years beyond that.
